Tandis Project. Tehran, Iran 2024
A human is a living being with a natural inclination toward life. As this need evolves in both meaning and form within the framework of architecture, it inevitably influences a person’s behavior, experiences, and way of living.
In the Tandis residential project, staying true to our studio’s ongoing manifesto, we designed in close alignment with the lifestyle of the future inhabitants—defining each space through this lens.
The ample area of the project allowed us to allocate dedicated spaces for study, play, entertainment, and exercise, all contributing to a richer quality of presence for its users.
A serene work environment was created at the heart of the home, while the central courtyard—alive with greenery—helped shape a peaceful and grounding workspace.
The garden was also transformed into a suitable area for physical activity, encouraging movement and balance as part of daily life.
To maintain visual clarity, we opted for minimal furniture. At the same time, acknowledging the character of the homeowners, we thoughtfully integrated works by renowned artists throughout the home, adding personality and depth.
Finally, a range of lighting options was introduced to enrich the atmosphere and elevate the users’ daily experience—bringing variety, warmth, and dynamism to the living environment.
