    Meris Project. Tehran, Iran 2023

The house, as the closest physical space to humans, holds immense importance and captivates our attention across various scales, from the city to everyday life. According to Parkinson, the built environment profoundly shapes people's collective experiences in a specific place, while architects strive to create an ideal living environment. We firmly believe that a house truly embodies its essence when the interactions, actions, and behaviors of its residents align harmoniously with their desires.

In this particular project, we have embraced a modern and contemporary approach to interior design, meticulously integrating the project's underlying concept with the specific needs and wishes of our client. The living room and kitchen exhibit a visual contrast that delineates the spaces while preserving their overall unity. However, the conventional barrier between the house and the sky is ingeniously breached by strategically placed skylights on the roof. These skylights not only infuse abundant natural light into the living and dining areas but also symbolize a connection with the celestial realm.

The children's playroom adjoining the television area exudes an engaging ambiance, achieved through a combination of warm materials, thoughtful lighting, and a clever disparity in height between the two spaces. Overall, our goal in this project has been to create an environment that maximizes comfort for the residents, while incorporating dynamic spatial arrangements. Through the language of modern forms, designs, textures, and furniture, we have strived to achieve this vision to the fullest extent possible.
